K9 Lorcan is the newest addition to the K9 Unit.  He is a Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands, handled by Officer Gallagher. He is certified in narcotics detection and patrol duties. His patrol duties include tracking, article searches, building and area searches, apprehensions, and controlled aggression. 

He is quite large for his breed at around 90 pounds and nearly six feet tall on his hind legs. His glowing golden eyes and massive head can be intimidating, but he is very social. When K9 Lorcan is at home he enjoys playing in the back yard with his dog brothers, Fleetwood and Mugsie.
