K9 Ruck is the veteran dog of the team.  He is a Belgian Malinois from Canada and his handler is Officer Bender. 

K9 Ruck is trained in patrol related duties just like the other K9 teams, however he is the only dog certified in explosives detection.  

On his off days, Ruck enjoys playing fetch, enjoying a nice nap in the sun, and barking at the mailman.
